My ultimate goal is to become a guidance councellor 

I would also love to become a resource teacher and work with students with special needs

I currently work as a Support Worker for people with intellectual disabilities

I volunteer with the CanU program here at the University of Manitoba

I graduated from a French Immersion High School and am fluent in both English and French

In all seriousness, I am passionate about this field; all my life I have struggled between Law and Education, and during my first year of my undergrad at the University of Manitoba, I realized that I wanted to be a teacher more than anything. I want to actively be a part of social change; I believe that educating and connecting with the youth of today is the best way to create a better future. And I do not want to live a life full of conflict; I would rather help develop and positively influence a person's future than deal with a person's past. Or, like I often say, I'd rather write the prologue to a person's life than the epilogue.
